Odour & VOC control

Commercial odour removal in Singapore

Smoke, pet, musty and cooking odours all come from volatile compounds sitting in the surfaces around you. We supply the water-based products that neutralise them — to hotels, F&B operators, facilities teams and the cleaning contractors who do the work.

SGS CertifiedEN 717-1 TestedOECD 420 Non-Toxic
Why masking fails

An odour is a chemical, not a mood

If the compound is still in the curtain, the smell comes back the moment the fragrance wears off.

Fragrance is not removal

An air freshener adds a smell on top of the one you have. The moment it fades, the original is still there — because the compounds causing it were never touched.

Neutralise the compound

Our deodorisers use plant tannins, amino acids and a carboxymethyl chitosan system to react with the VOCs behind the odour rather than covering them.

Safe on the surfaces it treats

Water-based, non-corrosive and certified non-toxic to OECD 420. PRO is formulated for leather, synthetic fabrics, coated furniture and painted walls.

By odour type

What is causing it, and how to treat it

Every one of these has a source that has to be dealt with first. Treatment holds the result; it does not replace the clean.

Odour What is actually causing it How to treat it
Cigarette & smoke Tar and smoke VOCs absorbed into soft furnishings, curtains, ceilings and paintwork. Clean the deposit first, then treat the surfaces. Smoke re-emits from what it soaked into, so surface treatment is the part that lasts.
Pet & urine Ammonia, largely. It keeps regenerating from residue in grout, skirting and soft flooring. Remove the residue, then neutralise. The Deodoriser removed over 90% of ammonia in independent lab testing.
Musty & damp Microbial VOCs from a space that has been shut, humid or previously wet. Fix the moisture source first — nothing holds if the damp is still active — then treat the affected surfaces.
Cooking & grease Cooking VOCs settled into back-of-house surfaces, extract runs and soft seating. Degrease, then treat. Deodoriser PRO is built for the coverage a commercial kitchen and its back-of-house need.
New furniture & renovation Solvent, adhesive and board VOCs off-gassing from new joinery, paint and sealant. This one overlaps with formaldehyde and TVOC work — see our TVOC and VOC removal page for the full split.

Odour and formaldehyde are separate problems and take separate products. If you are treating a post-renovation space, read TVOC and VOC removal for how the range splits.

Questions about odour removal

Most retail deodoriser sprays are fragrances — they add a scent that masks the smell until it fades. Our products neutralise the volatile organic compounds producing the odour, so the smell does not return once the treatment dries. PRO carries a light fragrance, but the removal is the chemistry, not the scent.

It treats the surfaces the smoke soaked into, which is where the smell keeps coming from. Clean the deposit first — walls, ceilings, curtains, soft furnishings — then treat. Skipping the clean means the source keeps regenerating the odour under the treatment.

Roughly 60–80 m² per litre, depending on the surface. That is around double the standard Deodoriser, which is why facilities teams and hotels use PRO for anything at floor or property scale.

PRO is formulated for leather, synthetic fabrics, painted walls, coated furniture, laminate, wallpaper and melamine. Avoid black or water-sensitive materials and anything prone to staining, and patch-test an unseen area first.

Touch dry in about 30 minutes and fully cured in 2–3 hours. Avoid cleaning the treated surfaces for 3–5 days so the coating is not wiped off before it has done its work.

No. We manufacture and supply the products to the contractors, hotels and facilities teams who do the work. If you sell odour removal as a service, we supply the chemical at trade pricing and do not compete with you for the job.
